Adventure attraction specialist, Extreme Engineering, has announced the opening of its first Cloud Coaster at Margaritaville Resort, Biloxi.
The family-friendly attraction, in the resort’s 55, 000ft² entertainment complex, promises the triple sensation of flying, zip-lining and rocketing down a roller coaster.
Riders are strapped into a seat suspended from a speed controlled steel track which is secured to the structure of the building, removing the need for visible and intrusive supports.
According to Extreme Engineering, the ride targets the gap between zip lines and big roller coasters with uphill racing, fast descents and smooth turns.
The flexibility of the design allows for virtually any length of track, making it adaptable to a wide variety of situations.
Founded by Jeff Wilson in 1995, Extreme Engineering creates High-Action Adventure theme parks, ziplines, Extreme Air launchers and climbing walls for FECs and theme parks worldwide.
