Six Flags Over Texas has partnered with Warner Bros Consumer Products. They will launch a ride based on the DC Villain Harley Quinn.

Harley Quinn Spinsanity is inspired by a gyroscope and will deliver unpredictable, gravity-defying flips, twists and turns.

The ride is one of a number announced by Six Flags as part of their 2018 line up.

Park President, Steve Martindale, said: “Once again, Six Flags is the leader in thrills with the most innovative, record-breaking rides and attractions in the industry. As the company’s flagship park, Six Flags Over Texas is home to a long list of world records and world’s firsts and we take great pride in continuing our legacy of one-of-a-kind thrills for all ages.”

“HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity is sure to captivate guests with each sinister spin. This fascinating new ride will be perfectly placed with our other DC Super-Villain-themed rides, including THE JOKER, CATWOMAN Whip and THE RIDDLER Revenge in the GOTHAM CITY section of the park.”

The ride uses a unique futuristic triple box design. It allows the gondola to spin around three separate axes. The ride can also rotate forward, backwards and sideways simultaneously at up to 70 feet in the air.

It will also light up after dark. A dazzling nighttime light display will “beckon thrill seekers from near and far,” explains a release.

The new ride is set to debut in spring, 2018. More information about the next season at Six Flags Over Texas is available online.

All the new rides for the 2018 season have been announced.

Six Flags has also announced the start of 2018 Season Pass sales with a Flash Sale offering savings of up to 70% off on a 2018 Pass!

2018 Season Passes provide unlimited visits for the rest of the 2017 season and all of 2018.  This includes park admission to Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park.
