Leading design and theming production company, Jora Vision, is celebrating the opening of the 40 hectare Wanda Hefie Theme Park in China.
The Dutch company provided master planning expertise for the new Wanda Hefei, which features record-breaking coaster, ‘Dragon in the Sky’, boasting the world’s tallest loop.
Themed around the regional folklore of the Anhui province, the park offers over 30 rides and attractions in six distinctive zones:
- Ancient Rhyme of Huizhou
- Spring & Summer of the Operatic Circle
- Joyous Water Town
- Ancient City of Chao Lake
- Butterfly Dream Wonderland
- Battle of Fei River
Jora Vision provided architecture and design of attractions, theming, landscaping, interior design, lighting, audiovisual system, shows, props and signage for the park.
Wanda Hefei Theme Park, the third outdoor theme park created by Wanda Group, is part of a RMB 30 billion resort development encompassing 100 hectares (247 acres). Jora Vision was also involved in master planning the resort’s indoor waterpark.
The new resort is expected to attract 20 million visitors annually.
