Medici XD, an integrated software, ride manufacturing, and media production group, has announced details of its new corporate headquarters in Nashville, US.
The firm will initially invest over $7 million in the brand new facility which accompanies its existing site in Los Angeles, US, followed by an additional $30 million in future years.
Medici XD (“Experience Development”) is the latest venture from Daren Ulmer, Mousetrappe founder, and fellow industry veteran Chuck Fawcett, founder of Animax designs. The duo are joined by Nathan Jones, a respected theme park and entertainment executive, as company CEO.

Fawcett, who is also the current international president of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) says: “Medici XD is a company that works with storytellers and designers, theme park developers and entertainment brands to tailor a multi-disciplinary solution to fit their project.
“From zoos and aquariums to theme parks, museums and retail-dining establishments, we know exactly how to elevate in-person interactions and make memorable moments and experiences that our clients can be proud of, and profit from.”
Dynamic solutions
Medici XD covers the five core product and service lines of media, machines, interactive, theatrical, and labs to establish scenarios where physical rides and digital content supplement each other. Constructed as an experience delivery platform, Medici XD’s products combine to deliver real-time dynamic solutions.
Ulmer says “The majority of our team have decades of experience working with creative partners within the location-based entertainment industry to develop and deliver their entertainment concepts. Our collaborative DNA makes co-creation of the project a harmonious experience and our heritage proves the end product will be the highest quality.”
The new Medici XD headquarters will become home to Nashville-based executive and administrative staff, including designers, engineers, project managers, and a research and development team.
Jones adds: “This new facility will accommodate not only future growth for the Medici business lines but will also meet immediate needs for current work that has developed since the company launched in 2021.”
Growth on both sites
The company has plans to hire thirty high-skilled workers for its new facility, however, says it remains committed to developing and continuing to expand its California-based staff and creative, media, theatrical and interactive capabilities.
Fawcett concludes: “This beautiful new facility will not only serve as the central hub for our business, financial, and administrated functions but also allows for the launch of a new business group called Medici Machines. [This will be] focused on design and manufacturing of the next generation of media-based, interactive motion simulators and rides to be offered to family entertainment centres and theme parks on a global scale.”
Medici XD’s new Corporate Headquarters can be found at 2200 8th Ave S. in downtown Nashville.
Earlier this year, TEA announced Medici XD’s Jones would serve as vice president, with Fawcett continuing as president.
