Parques Reunidos: Motiongate Key Step in International Expansion Strategy

News
Parques reunidos and lionsgate announce partnership to create lionsgate branded leisure centres

After a disappointing set of financial results, Parques Reunidos heralds the opening of Motiongate in Dubai as a step in the right direction.

The company will manage Motiongate together with Bollywood Parks at mega theme park development Dubai Parks and Resorts.

This is Parques Reunidos’ first step into the Middle East.  International expansion is one of the Operator’s key strategic goals, with plans for managing two parks set to open in Vietnam in early 2017: the Typhoon aquatic park and the Dragon theme park.

Parques Reunidos’ CEO Fernando Eiroa said, “One of the main strategies of Parques Reunidos’ business plan is to continue expanding internationally and consolidate itself as one of the most diversified operators in the world. With the opening of Motiongate within the Dubai Parks & Resorts complex we are taking another step into a market which is key for us, the Middle East”.
