The President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, and his cabinet have met with Landing International to discuss the construction of a branded theme park in the Philippines. 

Dr. Yang Zhihui, Chairman and Executive Director of Landing International Development Limited and the Company’s senior management met with President Rodrigo Duterte,  and his cabinet team at Malacaňang Palace, Manila, Philippines on 4 September 2017.

There, they presented the Company’s proposal to build a world-class international branded
theme park integrated resort in the Philippines. A release from the company said that President Duterte welcomed the proposed investment into the Philippines. The release said he expressed his keen interest and overwhelming support for the Company’s proposal.

Dr. Yang said: “Following our first meeting with the President in May 2017 in Hong Kong to discuss investment opportunities in the Philippines, we are honored to share with President Duterte and his cabinet team our vision for tourism in the country and our proposal to build an iconic international branded theme park integrated resort in the Philippines that all Filipinos will be proud of. This resort will comprise Asia’s first movie themed indoor theme park, waterpark as well as many other leisure and entertainment facilities suited for all ages and families. When opened, the branded theme park integrated resort will enhance Philippines’ tourism appeal, complement the existing tourists’ attractions and resorts as well as create significant employment opportunities for the locals as well as returning Filipinos who are currently working overseas.”

Landing International is currently developing “Jeju Shinhwa World 濟州神話世界”, a 2.5 million-square metre integrated leisure and entertainment destination resort in
Jeju. When it opens in 2017 it will be Jeju’s first premium integrated destination resort.

Landing International also owns Les Ambassadeurs Club. That is a premium gaming club in London with 45 gaming tables. It offers a variety of casino games including American roulette, baccarat, blackjack and three card poker.
