In February The Producers Group announced that Tom Mehrmann would join TPG’s Board of Advisors. Mehrmann was the hugely successful CEO of Ocean Park Hong Kong for ten years. His tenure saw record-breaking attendance growth together with the development of the park into one of Asia’s leading theme parks.
Under his stewardship, the park’s attendance grew from under 3.0 million to over 7.8 million visitors a year.
An Extraordinary Voyage with The Producers Group (TPG)
Earlier, in November The Producers Group (TPG) announced a partnership with leading roller coaster and ride company Premier Rides. Details of this partnership were revealed at the 2017 IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando. The companies are creating the “world’s first Immersive Dining Experience”.
A turnkey attraction, Extraordinary Voyages Adventure Dining (EVAD), is the first such collaborative project between TPG and Premier Rides.
“Extraordinary Voyages” is described as an evolution in entertainment. It features an unforgettable dining experience along with both cinema and theme park thrills.
