La Frairie de la Toussaint features performers, royal carriages and horses

Puy du Fou has announced its first major short-term show, La Frairie de la Toussaint, opening during the October school holidays in Les Epesses, France.

From 21 October through 4 November, Francis I, king of France, will pass through the theme park every evening. He will be followed by his royal procession and representatives from the major French provinces.

At dusk, guests will gather in the château courtyard for the wedding of Catherine and François. Joining them for the wedding banquet are the king of France, Leonardo da Vinci, Pierre de Ronsard and Nicolas Copernicus.

As night falls, a procession of nearly 300 performers, royal carriages and horses will travel through the park’s alleys and villages for what Puy du Fou calls its “biggest party ever”.

La Frairie de la Toussaint is included in the Puy du Fou admission ticket. The new experience will be followed every evening by the park’s nighttime show, Les Noces de Feu.

Per a press release, Puy du Fou has already welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors to the 2023 season, an increase of 200,000 compared to the 2022 season.

Puy du Fou, an award-winning historical and cultural visitor attraction, is now looking for its first UK site. As well as the French destination, Puy du Fou has a permanent location in Toledo, Spain.

Puy du Fou’s global expansion

The group is also opening a new show called Saga in Shanghai, and developing a new park in China. Additionally, Puy du Fou is creating a walk-through show about Cherokee history in Sevier County, Tennessee.

Puy du Fou is a unique concept in the entertainment industry. Rather than roller coasters and rides, its parks offer spectacular shows, immersive experiences, period villages and themed hotels.
