Quarry Park, an outdoor adventure theme park located in Rocklin, California, is set to open in May this year.
The $3.2 million park, plans for which were approved by Rocklin City Council in January 2017, will have more than 100 activities across its five-acre plot. They will include zip lines, a ropes course, a giant swing, boating and rock climbing.
Quarry Park will also feature a dedicated kids zone for children aged four-to-ten with balance beams and zip lines. It also has plans for five restaurants, an observation deck and two pavilions for concerts and corporate events.
The food and beverage options are being promoted as “artisan quality” with the park’s vice president of sales and marketing telling Sactown Magazine that it will serve up California wines and craft beer from local brewers.
The park is located in a 160-year-old quarry and will make use of a gold rush theme with design elements invoking the sights of early days in California.
