Gilroy Gardens breaks world record for stamp image

Gilroy Gardens and RWS Entertainment Break Record

Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park’s summer production of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS LIVE! has broken a record of its own.

The show garnered 4,799 participants for a stamp image, breaking the record for ‘most people contributing to a stamp image’. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was on hand to verify the attempt on Sunday, August 13. The stamp image features the park’s signature basket tree.

The previous record was set by LIVAT Center in Beijing – which had 3,154 participants.

The Guinness World Records LIVE! show ran at Gilroy Gardens from June 10 – August 13 and was produced by leading entertainment company RWS Entertainment Group.

It featured interactive experiences across the park. The live show taught audiences about the science of record-breaking. Kids were also invited to join the “GWR Club” by finding Guinness World Record memorabilia across the park – and collecting stamps for their GWR Passport.
