Shanghai Disney Resort has launched the first phase of a recruitment campaign for technical and creative positions to support the initial design and construction phase of the development in Shanghai.

Applicants are invited for over 100 skilled jobs in engineering design, project management, construction management, project integration, IT, procurement and finance.

Shanghai Disney Resort is keen to recruit and train local talent and this represents a fantastic opportunity to join Disney and become a cast member or imagineer.

Shanghai Disney Resort will be “authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese”; the development will generate economic growth in Shanghai, helping to develop the city as a tourist destination with a world class service industry.   Mike Crawford, General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, said, "In the coming years, the resort will recruit for a wide range of employment needs, and we will continue to generate significant employment opportunities for Chinese talent."

“Shanghai Disney Resort will recruit those Cast Members and Imagineers in China who have the passion for service and creativity and are looking to build a career with Disney, " said Greg Morley, Vice President of Human Resources, Shanghai Disney Resort.
