Universal Orlando has filed a new construction permit for site development work on a building at Epic Universe.
Via Florida Today, the permit filed last week with Orange County suggests a potential expansion at Universal's new theme park.
First shared by Behind the Thrills on X and reported by various publications, the permit details work on a 150,000-square-foot building located at the same address as Epic Universe.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the application was submitted by architect Bryce Ramsay on 7 November.

Universal has not commented on the permit, which calls for "site utilities" and "foundation" work, but officials have previously discussed expansion plans at Epic Universe.
Universal Destinations & Experiences CEO Mark Woodbury said at a conference in September: "If you fly over Epic or you look at Google Earth, you'll see how we plan the park, and you'll see greenfield space between the existing worlds, and that is strategically positioned to give us flexibility to expand a world or create a new world."
"Multiple attractions in the works"
He added, "And so that's how we look at it. I don't really have anything to announce specifically as attractions, but I can tell you that there are multiple attractions in the works, not just at Epic."
In a video promoting Epic Universe earlier this year, Universal Orlando president Karen Irwin said the resort has "a slate of new attractions that are already in development for every one of our parks".

"We're already planning for the next thing at Epic... We're bigger and better than we've ever been before," she added.
Opened in May of this year, Epic Universe is Universal’s biggest theme park in the US.
The destination is home to five themed lands with more than 50 attractions, entertainment experiences, and retail and F&B outlets.
