Universal has released new concept art for its new Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, and revealed the theme park's attractions, shows, and F&B and retail experiences.
Opening next year, Universal Kids Resort will feature seven themed lands:
DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar, and the Isle of Curiosity.

“When creating Universal Kids Resort, we leaned into that childlike curiosity and invited play to be our guide,” said Molly Murphy, president of Universal Creative.
“Every detail was designed through a child’s eyes from signs at their height to colors that invite them in.
"The result is a park that celebrates the joy of being a kid — where imagination isn’t just encouraged, it’s embedded in every attraction, space, and experience.”

At Jurassic World Adventure Camp, attractions are Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster, Mr. DNA’s Double Helix Spin, and the Pteranodrop ride.
F&B will be on offer at the Jurassic World Canteen, and merchandise at Jurassic World Outfitters. Play areas will include Jurassic World Lookout Towers and Paddock Play.
In the SpongeBob SquarePants-themed land, attractions are the Jellyfish Fields Jamboree, Barnacle Bus and Bobbing Barrels, as well as Mrs. Puff’s Boating School.

Goofy Goober's is an F&B outlet in the land, and Barg’N-Mart is a retail facility. Guests can also explore Mussel Beach for an interactive experience.
At Shrek's Swamp, guests will enjoy the Shrek & Fiona’s Happily Ogre After attraction, as well as interactive play areas called Shrek’s Swamp Rompin’ Stomp and Shrek’s Swamp Splash & Smash.
F&B will be available at Swamp Snacks, and merchandise at Triplets Treasures.

Bello Bay Club, home to the iconic Minions, will provide the Bello Bay Cruise and Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby attractions, as well as the Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club water play area.
At DreamWorks' TrollsFest, guests will enjoy the King Trollex Techno Dance Party interactive experience, a Trolls-themed stage show, the Rhonda’s TrollsFest Express bus ride, and the Hair in the Clouds attraction.
Food will be available at Trolls Eatz and BroZone Cones, merchandise at Mr. Dinkles’ Market, and young guests can get a makeover at the Troll-ify Me experience.

TrollsFest will also include two interactive play areas; Poppy’s Playland and Trolls Critter Crawl
Attractions on offer in Puss in Boots Del Mar will include Swings Over Del Mar and the Mama Luna’s Adopt a Kitty Day puppet performance.
F&B will be served at Comidas y Leche and Tienda de Dulces, and the land's retail outlet is named Mercado de Perrito.
Finally, the Isle of Curiosity at Universal's new theme park will serve as the gateway to the other themed lands.

Here, guests will find the Gabby’s Dollhouse-themed Gabby’s Cat-Tastic Dance Party, the Cakey's Cupcakes F&B outlet, the Universal Kids Resort Café, and the flagship Universal Kids Resort Store.
“Universal Kids Resort is a place where kids are accepted just as they are, free to dance, dream, and play without limits or judgment,” said Brian Robinson, EVP and chief creative officer at Universal Creative.
“For many, it will be the first time the worlds they’ve only seen on screen come vividly to life — moments that ignite creativity, confidence, and joy.
"It celebrates all the best parts of being a kid, the laughter, the curiosity, the courage to be unapologetically yourself, and in doing so, invites a new generation into the incredible thrills of Universal."
