Vintia, a specialist in innovative all-in-one ticketing and booking systems and part of SALTO WECOSYSTEM, has announced the appointment of Valerie Morel as CEO.
This leadership change signifies a pivotal new chapter for Vintia, emphasising rapid growth and global expansion, leveraging its established expertise in improving visitor experiences and streamlining customer operations with innovative software solutions.
After over twenty years with the company and seven years as CEO, Edwin Hemkes has chosen to step down to pursue a new opportunity outside the organisation. During his tenure, Hemkes led Vintia through a period of significant growth and innovation, including its successful integration into SALTO WECOSYSTEM.
His leadership, characterised by a visionary approach, has allowed Vintia to develop market-leading software platforms that streamline operations and improve visitor engagement.
Valerie Morel has been named his successor, starting on November 1, 2025. She has over 20 years of experience in management and on boards, bringing deep expertise in expanding international technology firms. She is well-equipped to advance the foundation Hemkes has laid.
New chapter, continued growth
“Leading the Vintia team has been an amazing journey. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the past 20 years, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s dedication. Vintia is in a great position to continue growing and pushing boundaries,“ says Hemkes.
Morel adds: “This is a pivotal moment for Vintia, and I’m truly excited to take on this new challenge. As part of SALTO WECOSYSTEM, we have the opportunity to transform how venues manage ticketing and visitor experiences by seamlessly integrating smart access, identity, and experience solutions.
"I look forward to working with the team to ensure Vintia leads this change and helps our clients unlock new value for both their operations and their guests.”
As Vintia begins this new chapter, the company is dedicated to fostering innovation and strengthening its market leadership, both regionally and through its diverse product offerings.
"This leadership transition marks an exciting new chapter in Vintia’s journey toward shaping the future of ticketing and smart access technology through innovative solutions,” says Marc Gomez, CEO of SALTO WECOSYSTEM.
“On behalf of everyone, I sincerely thank Edwin for his visionary leadership and dedication to transforming ideas into impactful results. Embracing future challenges with Valerie will be instrumental in strengthening our ecosystem and shaping the bright future of access and ticketing technology."
Earlier this year, Vintia provided a unified ticketing and planning solution for Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a historic French estate in Maincy, France.
