Margaritaville reveals immersive high-tech water park Island H2O Live!

Island H20 Live! Water Park at Margaritaville Resort Orlando

Margaritaville Resort Orlando has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming, technologically advanced water park Island H2O Live! – set to open soon.

The immersive water park will feature innovative slide experiences and technological enhancements throughout the attractions and park.

The parks theme, slide names and attraction areas will be themed to reflect both technology and social media.

Island H2O Live! will offer over 20 experiences, including exhilarating drop slides, an interactive lazy river with caverns and lighting effects, and a wave pool.

Other rides are Hashtag Heights – a family tube ride, Follow Me Falls, Retweet Racers, Profile Plunge, Reload Rapids, The Downloader, Live Streaming – the only truly looping video embedded waterslide in the world, and Drop Down.

As well as themed areas for children and teens, adults can enjoy the Private Domain pool and a cocktail from the Tag Shack.

Customisable, shareable experiences

Visitors will also get to record videos in the Be Live video boosts, enabling them to share their experiences at the water park.

New and innovative technology will allow guests to customise their experiences and share them for all to see.

Once in the park, guests can store their cash in a locker and use the park’s waterproof wristbands to buy food, merchandise, and communicate with the park itself.

Island H2O Live! is completely interactive with games and experiences that let visitors earn points for food and merchandise discounts.

More water parks and tech trends

Earlier this month, Wild Rivers in Irvine, California unveiled its new site plan. The $50 million water park is expected to open in May 2020.

As technology becomes increasingly integral in creating unique and memorable visitor experiences, Blooloop has predicted six attraction tech trends as ones to watch in 2019.
