iP2 Group, an international leader in transforming world-class intellectual properties (IPs) into immersive, high-value urban destinations, has announced that Branded Leisure Xperiences (BLX) is launching the first ZAFARI ADVENTURE themed indoor family entertainment centre (FEC) in Europe.

Founded by the principals of Playland and iP2 Group, BLX aims to create premium-branded FECs in European city centres, starting in Germany.

Its mission is to immerse children aged 2 to 10 and their parents in the brands they love through innovative, interactive, and engaging physical and digital experiences.

With this launch, BLX brings ZAFARI, an internationally acclaimed and distributed animated children’s TV series, into the real world. The series' first European FEC is located at Wilma Shoppen Mall in central Berlin and will open in spring 2026.

Faruk Tas, managing director at BLX, says: "Securing the Wilma Mall site is a significant milestone; The Wilma Shoppen Mall location makes us a central, easy-to-reach destination for all."

The 1,100-square-metre interactive experience has been developed for children aged 3 to 8 and transports families into ZAFARI's vibrant jungle world through a combination of digital attractions, creative play zones, and hands-on discovery.

Curiosity, collaboration and courage

Every element of the FEC reflects the show’s verdant landscapes and beloved characters.

Set in a secret valley at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, ZAFARI tells the story of Zoomba, a curious young elephant magically born with zebra stripes, who goes on adventures with his friends Quincy, Lulu, Antonio, Pokey, and Babatua, among others.

In bringing the show's world to life, the FEC reminds guests that every creature has its own special gifts and strengths, which are the key to fun, learning, and becoming your unique self.

Roger Houben, CEO of iP2 Group, exclusive partner of ZAFARI and designer of the FEC, says:

"Our goal isn’t just to entertain children—it’s to give them a space where they can explore the world around them and, like ZAFARI’s one-of-a-kind animals, celebrate their own unique talents.

"Zoomba’s story reminds kids that curiosity, collaboration and courage are what help you find your own self – your ‘brightest colors’. This center brings that message to life through play, adventure, and imagination."

The cutting-edge facility provides a dynamic experience by combining physical, immersive, and digital play.

Significant features include a large multi-activity branded obstacle course and interactive play structure, the distinctive Storm Spinners interactive bumper car attraction, engaging media-based games, and costumed characters.

To round out the visit, the FEC also offers a branded café, party rooms and a retail space selling ZAFARI merchandise.

The ZAFARI FEC aligns with the brand’s deep commitment to environmental stewardship.

It features an eco-conscious design that incorporates sustainable and recycled materials throughout, and merchandise that emphasises responsible production, reinforcing the brand's dedication to WWF/WNF principles.

ZAFARI was created by former Star Wars artist David Dozoretz and made history as the first television series rendered entirely in Epic Games’ Unreal Engine. The series has aired in over 80 countries and continues to inspire young audiences worldwide.

iP2 Group is a specialised designer and developer of entertainment centres, focused on transforming iconic brands into immersive FECs that deliver significant, consistent returns for investors and developers.
