VenposCloud will enable the museum to boost membership sales, manage special events, analyse guest data and more

Vennersys, the integrated ticketing, retail and visitor management company, will be providing its attraction management solution to Lyme Regis Museum, located in the heart of the UK’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

The museum, which has been endorsed by Sir David Attenborough and is designed to appeal to all ages, is home to a range of fascinating fossils and maritime artefacts, spanning 200 million years of history. Built on the home of palaeontologist Mary Anning, it also displays exhibits around the cultural history of Lyme Regis and hosts seasonal art exhibitions.

Lyme Regis Museum contacted Vennersys as it was in need of a solution to improve some of its internal processes and enhance the guest experience. Vennersys is the firm behind the VenposCloud ticketing and management system, created specifically for and tailored to visitor attractions.

Boosting membership & more

The operator wanted to boost membership and annual pass sales. In addition, the museum needed an easier way to manage its special events, and a better way of accessing and analysing the visitor data that it captures. Plus, the team needed to maximise income from donations, which is now made possible with the Vennersys Gift Aid module. This simplifies the donation process and makes Gift Aid collection automatic.

Lyme Regis Museum will adopt a number of different functionalities of the VenposCloud system.

Bridget Houseago, director of Lyme Regis Museum, says: “We’re excited to begin our work with Vennersys and look forward to implementing their innovative VenposCloud system. The new platform is really going to help us reduce our admin time and increase our efficiency as a team, which will result in a better experience for our customers. We can’t wait to get started.”

Stuart Ward, business development manager at Vennersys, adds: “The Jurassic Coast is a stunning part of the country, and the opportunity to work with the Lyme Regis Museum is exciting for both Vennersys and the museum itself.

“We look forward to being able to help our new client maximise the efficiency of their management systems while also attracting more visitors to a new and exciting part of our country’s history.”

Vennersys was also recently chosen by the Museum of the Broads in Norfolk as its new attraction management solution provider.
