BattleKart, an experience that combinesa physical driving experience with dynamic AR projection mapping, has announced the global release of its new BattleColor game mode.

Sebastien Millecam, founder and CEO of BattleKart Entertainment, says: "Despite some copies that have recently outcome on the leisure market, BattleKart still drives the innovation on the karting+gaming field, offering state of the art experience thanks to the talent and creativity of our young and talented development and game design team."

Continued development & growth

BattleKart revealed a full update of its BattleSnake game mode at the start of the year and has continued to refresh its offer with the BattleColor mode.

Millecam comments: "A colossal amount of work has gone into the game's graphics and soundscape, to further enhance player immersion."

The landscape and atmosphere now reflect the Disco era, and the track has become a massive dance floor. Players light up as many squares as they can to win the game.

The game mechanics have been adjusted for even more enjoyment, and the in-house animation team is creating artwork for the track, the walls, and more.

The BattleKart development team has created five further game modes, in addition to its signature BattleRacemode which features the excitement of electric go-kart racing mixed with the funof using weapons and power-ups to slow down the other players.

With each game mode, players can take part individually or collaborate as a team to win. For instance, BattleVirus provides an unusual real-world boss fight experience in which players work together to destroy an aggressive virus. While some playerstake care of their sick friends, others aremore aggressive.

"This mode, like BattleFoot, is particularly well suited to team building events, since it requires strategy, delegation and teamwork," adds Millecam.

In addition to its game updates, BattleKart has revealed that it is expanding once more. Following its recentdebut in Melbourne, the Belgian franchise is now launching inDubai. The firmhas alsochanged its name to reflect this growth. Previously known as"BattleKart Europe", the flagship is now named"BattleKart Entertainment."

Millecam concludes: "This new name is much more in line with our ultimate goal and forget the shy original geographical limits we felt maybe when first creating the company back in 2012."

Last month, BattleKart, together with its partner Panasonic, was honoured in the AV Project of the Year category at the Integrated Systems Europe 2024 awards.
