The capacity for speech was added to Alice a few weeks ago. The Mad Systems team checked to ensure the outcome was right for the first few languages spoken by the in-house team, including English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Russian, Mandarin, and Hungarian, and the team was delighted by the result.
The company is actively contacting industry friends to check out more languages, including indigenous North American languages, to ensure that the accent is neutral and the delivery is accurate.

The hyper-personalisation of displays through the deployment of Alice, a cutting-edge AI system, is poised to transform visitor experiences in museums, theme parks, and other public spaces. Alice immerses visitors in a more engaging environment by providing personalised media delivery based on information provided by visitors when they register (age, interests, amount of information to be delivered, presentation style, and other parameters).
