The Bezark Company, an international creator of experiences, has announced the appointment of Jeremy Nocon as director, creative development.
He joins the firm on an exclusive consultancy basis in themed entertainment and live experiential design, and will lead Bezark’s new programmes in creative outreach.
Fresh perspective
Nocon was formerly vice president of business development at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and was at The Jim Henson Company for over 10 years. Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (Apple TV+), The Dark Crystal – Age of Resistance (Netflix), and The Jungle Book (Disney) are among his production credits.
Adam Bezark, president and creative director, exclaims: “YES! You have no idea how delighted we are to have Jeremy join our merry Bezark band. Ironically, as storytellers, we sometimes need a fresh perspective to tell our own story. Jeremy is a marvelous communicator himself, so he’s perfectly positioned to help us reach out to new and old friends and let everyone know what we’re up to.”
Nocon shares: “I’m tremendously excited to work with the fantastic group of creative humans at Bezark. I’ve always been in awe of the team’s exceptional ability to craft stories into unforgettable experiences, and I look forward to exploring new opportunities for us to create spectacular memories for audiences and guests around the world.”
The Bezark Company participated in the online event, TEA China: Dialogues for Innovation, at TEA China 2022. In this dialogue, Bezark expanded on his thinkpiece “Small is the New Big”, to discuss the rise of smaller and mid-scale attractions within an international context.
He was joined by the president of Shanghai Max-Matching Culture Development Co., Ltd. and TEA China Development Council chainman Owen Zhao, VP of Haichang (China) Investment Co. Ltd. Hongfeng Fang, and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Co. Ltd. director Peng Wang.
