Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has announced that it has formed an official partnership with Drayton Manor Resort, part of Looping Group. This new multi-year deal will see the company providing its fully integrated eCommerce, crowd control and guest experience platform at the park.
Convious will work with Drayton Manor Resort to streamline performance through a parkwide ticketing solution. This includes operational management, finance and guest experience features under one cloud-based platform, and will also allow the operator to benefit from real-time insights and control.
Data-driven AI solution
Firstly, the team will focus on using the data-driven AI solution to boost online conversion rates, bringing in dynamic pricing and improving the guest purchase experience, both during and after their visit.
“Over 80 percent of theme park web traffic comes from mobile users, making a seamless end-to-end digital journey crucial for venues to deliver high-end customer experiences and drive conversions,” says Andy Povey, managing director UK & Ireland at Convious.
“Our platform is a next-generation solution created by digital natives and designed especially for experience economy businesses. We understand the nuances and challenges of this industry and have created a solution that can incorporate legacy systems and streamline the digital workflow to enhance performance, improve efficiency and deliver strategic insights that drive results.”
Katy Oram, interim managing director from Drayton Manor Resort adds:
“We are always looking at ways to enhance the guest experience across the Resort and the Convious system allows us to do this. The system allows us to have access to unrivalled insights, see real-time performance and make more informed data-driven decisions to enable better connections with our customers.”
Recently, Drayton Manor announced a new ‘Vikings’ area that will open later this year. The new land will include thrill rides called ‘Thor’ and ‘Loki’, a new ‘Walhalla’ restaurant, and Viking-themed hotel rooms.
Last month, Convious also announced that it has upgraded its software with the integration of Google’s new ‘Things to do’ functionality into its AI-driven platform.
