The Beak and Barrel debuts at Magic Kingdom later this month

Disney World has set an opening date for its new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar, the Beak and Barrel, and revealed its menu.

Located in Magic Kingdom‘s Adventureland across from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, the Beak and Barrel opens to guests on 29 August.

Billed as a lively pirate pub, the venue serves tropical non-alcoholic beverages such as the Treasure Trove and the Cursed Treasure.

Alcoholic drinks at the Beak and Barrel include the Salty Seas mARRRgarita, made with ube, lime, tequila and Cointreau.

The Siren’s Whisper combines white rum with citrus and spice, and is topped with a siren’s tear, while Barrels Ablaze includes Jack Daniel’s bourbon, honey and spice.

The Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale is a rum-based drink topped with prosecco, and Port of Call is made with gin, port, lemon juice and spiced cranberry.

The Lit Fuse is a combination of mezcal, banana, coconut and smoked chilli bitters, and the Plunderer’s Punch contains spiced rum, blackberry, vanilla and a hint of citrus. This comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug.

As for light bites at the new tavern, the Kraken’s Catch is a cold salad served with octopus tentacles, while Island Provisions offers savoury dips with plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread.
