Harbin Ice and Snow World Opens in China

Harbin Ice and Snow World has opened to the public for the winter season.

The park in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province opens as the focal point of the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival which starts in January and attracts more than a million visitors.

The park covers about 800, 000 square meters and features sculptures, mazes, towers and slides made from ice and snow.

The star attraction this year is a 340 meter slide with LED lights embedded in ice cubes.
