Huss Park Attractions, the German ride manufacturer, has officially opened its latest observation tower in Asia. Located south of Phu Quoc island in the Gulf of Thailand, the new installation at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park towers over Hon Thom island and can be found next to the longest non-stop three-way cable car in the world.
Since it opened on 30 April, the Eagle’s Eye Sky Tower has been providing guests with a bird’s eye view of the whole island’s natural environment, including its expansive beaches and clear ocean waters.
From its base in Bremen, Huss Park Attractions is one of the world’s leading companies in the development and sales of amusement rides. The company also has representative offices in China and India.
An elegant trendsetter
When asked what makes the Sky Tower a top attraction, Huss says: “It is the attractive appearance of the tower that elegantly and effortlessly blends into the landscape, and it is the brand new, trendsetting cabin design.”
The tower’s capsule features a full double-curved transparent window front constructed from laminated safety glass, providing unrestricted views and a large degree of freedom.
The cabin is equipped with air-conditioning, direct and indirect LED lighting, head-up displays and a premium audio system, creating a relaxing ambience and sense of comfort during the hottest days of the season.
All guests are invited to board with unrestricted step-free access that allows guests with disabilities and wheelchaired passengers to enjoy the unique experience.
The tower’s typhoon classification ensures that the ride will remain standing 120 metres high throughout inclement weather such as cyclones.
Last year, Huss Park Attractions announced the launch of Break Dance 5, which was unveiled at IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona. The latest version of the ride incorporates 360° spinning gondolas as well as a range of multimedia and special effects.
