JRA have revealed their recently relocated offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in new 28-storey in the Mont Kiara area of the city. Theme park developers JRA are amongst the first tenants in the new development and say that the 2000 square foot office is ideal for JRA Southeast Asia’s needs. The studio was designed by JRA Southeast Asia director Zarina Rafique, who also chose the 17th floor to match the number at the Cincinnati office.

Shahyryn Azmi, another director, believes that the move illustrates JRA’s excitement about the emerging Asia market in the industry and further thinks that JRA’s relocation to a bigger, more experimental studio space reflects the firm’s commitment to the market.

“Now JRA will be able to provide itself with a more effective/efficient base of operations for team members working on local/area projects and offer an even greater level of service to its Asia clients, ” Azmi enthused.

It’s a KidzWorld at National Science Centre of Malaysia

A new JRA designed kid’s attraction has launched the National Science Centre of Malaysia (Pusat Sains Negara), Kuala Lumpur aimed at children between the ages of 7-14 years. Visiting children will have the chance to climb through a massive, rocket shaped climbing structure, which greets them when they arrive in the science centre’s main atrium. Further activities include a ball park, a mirror maze and a range of fun, interactive opportunities.

The KidzWorld attraction has proved to be hugely popular since its opening last March and all of the activities have been designed to have educational value. Children have the opportunity to sharpen motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination and discover the worlds of physics, biology and motion through interactive play.

“For Kuala Lumpur residents and visitors alike, the National Science Centre, enhanced in the atrium by KidzWorld, exemplifies the best of experiential learning for children, ” said Shahryn Azmi, Director, Jack Rouse Associates (Southeast Asia) Sdn Bhd.

“JRA Southeast Asia is honoured to have worked on such an important project, and as a Malaysian parent myself, I’ve enjoyed taking my children to a destination full of fun things to do and reasons to return.”
