Katapult, the international guest experience design agency, has announced that it will be sending its full team to this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, which takes place in London at the ExCeL from 12 – 15 September, with the trade show scheduled for 13 – 15 September.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the firm’s latest team additions, including creative director Andy Sinclair-Harris, who is a former Walt Disney Imagineer; operations & commercial director Cathrin Winsor, a former BRC team member who recently worked on the award-winning Johnnie Walker Whisky Experience; and Katapult’s live experiences lead Natalie Dawson, who brings more than 18 years of experience in live entertainment to her role with the company, having worked with TUI, Majid Al Futtaim and Bourne Leisure.

Other new additions to the Katapult team include ex-Electrosonic project producer Alex Tyrrell, experienced BRC creative producer Victoria Meadows and 3D & concept designer Alice Young.

Meet the team at IAAPA Expo Europe

While exhibiting at booth #1950, the Katapult team will be on hand to showcase the company’s strategy and insights, live experiences, masterplanning, concept and design services, and executive production services. They will also announce project updates with clients and other industry suppliers.

Attendees can meet the team at their sponsored TEA mixer event on Wednesday 14, as well as at drinks reception, EDUsessions, on the trade show floor and at their booth.

Last week, Katapult revealed the results of its recent survey exploring the key challenges for IP-themed attractions. The firm conducted the survey in order to gain insights into the opinions of visitor attraction operators, IP owners, franchise companies and industry suppliers across the globe. The company has now revealed that 65% of the responses identified brand guardianship as one of the key challenges, for both existing and prospective visitor attractions looking to invest in an IP.
