PGAV Destinations, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, has announced that applications are now being accepted for this year’s Spot Experiential Scholarship.

The Spot Experiential Scholarship is open to college students of all disciplines, and the challenge is to design a destination based on one of seven unique environmental concepts.

PGAV Destinations vice president and head of recruitment, Ned Diestelkamp, says, “The Spot Experiential Scholarship is a great opportunity for PGAV to uncover exceptionally-talented students.  The Scholarship challenges applicants to use the greatest level of creativity and brand understanding that our designers employ each and every day.”

PGAV Destinations’ top designers and architects will vote for the winner, to be announced on July 1st, based on creativity and design.  The prize for the winning entry will be a trip to one of five PGAV-designed destinations in North America for the winner and a guest, covering cover airfare, two nights in a hotel, rental car, food stipends, and admission to the destination.

Last year’s winner, Aly Strubberg from Washington University, visited Antler Hill Village at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina: “We had a fantastic time.  The design and atmosphere that you created were perfectly fitting for the Estate and location.”

Applicants do not need to be present at one of PGAV’s college career fair appearances to participate. For more information and scholarship application instructions please follow this link.
