Ride Entertainment Star Flyer

Ride Entertainment, a leader in the supply and installation of some of the world’s most thrilling attractions, will be showcasing new rides at IAAPA Expo Asia 2019.

Ride Entertainment will be present at the trade show in Shanghai from the 12th – 14th June. The company will be highlighting several new thrill rides at the event, along with its partners. Over 8,500 attendees from more than 60 countries are expected at the event, which takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

New thrill rides

Ride Entertainment will be showcasing its Skycoaster® with the new Sky Sled harness at the exhibition. The ride is already popular with visitors, with installations in Japan and South Korea. The innovative seated harness brings a new element to the exciting attraction. Attendees can also learn about Skywarp Horizon, which has been a hit with visitors in its new location at Sea World San Diego for Skyline Attractions. It stands at 9 meters tall, meaning it is perfect for indoor spaces, giving a roller coaster experience at a flat ride price.

Another ride that the company will be showing in Shanghai is The Funtime Star Flyer. Visitors to Six Flags Darien Lake are enjoying the latest installation of this product, which is both a billboard and a thrill ride. It ranges from 50 to 140 metres tall.

Every ride deserves to be shown off by the best lighting. Lighting engineer KCL will be showcasing its new lighting packages for drop towers and Star Flyers as part of the event.

“Our ride manufacturing partners continue to offer some of the most creative ways to scare people in the industry,” says Adam Sandy, President of Ride Entertainment’s Business Development Division. “If you want a thrill ride hundreds of meters tall or are interested in breaking a world record we are the company to see.”

Ride Entertainment can be found at booth #1246.

The company recently unveiled a new ride for the much-anticipated Wildwood Grove expansion at Dollywood. Black Bear Trail lets guests take a ride on the back of a friendly black bear.
