TAIT appoints Dan Healey as director, technical delivery

News
TAIT Dan Healey

TAIT, a global leader in the live experience industry, has announced the appointment of Dan Healey to the new role of director, technical delivery.

Healey will re-join TAIT to shape the strategic vision and continued expansion of the department, and a team of almost 40 full-time technical directors.

Precision & passion

Healey re-joins TAIT from Disney, where he most recently led technical teams to deliver shows at a range of Disney resorts. He joined as senior technical director for Walt Disney Imagineering in 2014, and has also served as principal technical director for Disneyland Resorts, and principal technical director for Walt Disney Imagineering.

“I’m incredibly proud of the shows, teams, and magical experiences we created as a team at Disney,” says Healey. “As I move on to the next stage of my career, I’ll carry that same teamwork, precision, and passion into further developing technical direction at TAIT.”

Before joining Disney, Healey worked at TAIT for several years. His roles included production manager at Thinkwell, project manager at Fisher Technical Services, and director of project management, Permanent Installations. His familiarity with TAIT’s standard for project delivery will support a smooth transition into his new position.

Brian Levine, chief executive, Live & Brand, TAIT, says: “We look forward to welcoming Dan back to our team as he transitions into this role, leading an existing team of technical directors and shaping the future of this service for our current and prospective clients.”

TAIT recently revealed that the installation of the VAI Amphitheater, at the upcoming VAI Resort in Arizona, US, is underway. The luxurious entertainment resort is set to open in late 2025 and will be the largest hotel, entertainment, and culinary destination in the state. In addition to the VAI Amphitheater, its wide range of attractions will include the Konos Sky Bar, and the world’s first Mattel Adventure Park.
