The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Studios Japan has opened to the public.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and USJ Co., Ltd., President & CEO Mr. Glenn Gumpel. With a quick Revelio spell Hogsmeade village was revelead to guests.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ has been a 45 billion yen project but is expected to have an economic impact of 5.6 trillion yen over the next decade.
In addition to exploring Hogwarts™ castle, guests at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter can also enjoy the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ ride, the Flight of the Hippogriff™ family ride, themed dining and retail experiences and street entertainment.
