TRIOTECH’s Wonder Mountain’s Guardian: New Dark Ride at Canada’s Wonderland

News

TRIOTECH, a market leader in multisensory attractions for the entertainment industry, has announced a major new interactive dark ride project with Canada’s Wonderland.

Wonder Mountain’s Guardian, Canada’s Wonderland newest attraction, is a next generation ride with 3D effects overlaid with 4D elements and the longest continuous interactive screen ever built for a ride.  Real time graphics and the fastest most accurate targeting system will create an ultra-immersive and interactive gaming experience.

Wonder Mountain’s Guardian, scheduled to open in May 2014, starts outside the park’s Wonder Mountain before diving into the mountain through five different layers of underground world.  A quest takes riders through a desolate forest, underground lake and Draconian City, interacting with mythical creatures along the way before entering the dragon’s lair for the final battle with an exciting finale.

Ernest Yale, President and CEO of TRIOTECH, said, “This new ride at Canada’s Wonderland will be a one of a kind, never seen before attraction.  It will bring the best elements of the physical, virtual and multi-sensory world. All this combined in a fully immersive and interactive experience."

Norm Pirtovshek, General Manager, Canada’s Wonderland, said, “Thrill seekers and video game enthusiasts from all generations will be amazed by the combination of unique ride thrills and immersive 4D interactive action as they compete for ride supremacy.”
