Universal Orlando has opened the third and final Epic Universe hotel – the Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
Described as the crown jewel of Universal Orlando’s hotel collection, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel is co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co.
It includes 500 rooms and overlooks Epic Universe. It even features a dedicated entrance to the new theme park.
Highlights in the Helios Grand Hotel include How to Train Your Dragon-themed suites, new dining options, a resort-style pool, and a rooftop bar.
F&B outlets in the new hotel include Flora Taverna, Aurora Market and Lotus Lagoon. The top-floor Bar Helios provides views of Epic Universe.
Also on offer are a fitness centre, a game room and the Universal Studios Store.
As for the dedicated entrance to Epic Universe, this will be accessible from the hotel lobby. Additional benefits range from early park admission to free shuttle transportation to Universal Orlando‘s other parks.
All three Epic Universe hotels now open
Other hotels developed as part of Epic Universe are the Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort. Both are already open.
Epic Universe opens on 22 May as the first major theme park to debut in the US in the last 25 years.
A 750-acre entertainment destination, Epic Universe is Universal‘s most ambitious and most technologically advanced park to date.
It includes five immersive worlds containing more than 50 attractions, dining and retail experiences.

These worlds are Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
“Epic Universe is a whole new kind of theme park,” Epic Universe executive creative director Steve Tatham said in a recent video.
Comcast recently shared a report detailing the positive economic impact of Universal Orlando and the additional benefit that Epic Universe will have.
