Spaces, a Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MxR) LA start up, has raised a further $6.5 million investment, led by China'sSongcheng Performance Development Co..This takes the total seed funding raised to $9.5 million.
Other investors includeComcast Ventures as well asBoost VC, Colopl VR Fund, Gree, Kai Huang, The Venture Reality Fund, Youku Global Media Fund and CRCM VC.
Spaces has links to Songcheng as a joint venture partner in the company's theme park arm dedicated to creating new VR and MxR attractions.
