Grupo Experiencias Xcaret has announced plans for He’Elel Riviera Maya - a neweco theme park for Riviera Maya.
Riviera Maya News reports that a planning application has been submitted for the 55 acre, 80 million peso ecopark south of Solidaridad.
The eco theme park will be a centre for ecotourism with outdoor adventure sport offerings including hiking, biking and kayaking. Adventure sports with a wellness and environmental theme are key trends for ecotourism worldwide.
The Xavage ecopark is set to open on 10 December 2018.Another new park Xibalbá is also planned near Valladolid, Yucatan.
