Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo 2025, where it plans to strengthen its focus on America and the family entertainment centre (FEC) industry.

IAAPA Expo is taking place in Orlando from 17 to 21 November. The show floor is open from 18 to 21 November, and delegates can find Valo Motion at booth #3886. Here, for the first time, a wider audience will have the chance to play the new ValoArena 4-player.

Valo Motion will also be showcasing its complete collection of proven mixed reality attractions, including ValoClimb and ValoJump air.

Dr. Raine Kajastila, CEO and founder of Valo Motion, says: "Since Valo Motion launched in 2016, we are proud that our products have been widely adopted in activity and trampoline parks around the world.

"While active play centers will continue to be a focus, our push into building products for family entertainment centers has shown us that a smaller product footprint and short, exciting games will work very well in FECs."

US leads adoption

Now regarded as the new standard model, the ValoArena 4-player is an unattended attraction designed to provide a fully immersive mixed-reality experience, offering a variety of active, exciting game titles and accommodating up to four players at once.

The North American version measures 19’ 8” wide × 18’ deep (6.0 m × 5.5 m) with a height of 9’ 9” (3.0 m).

Meanwhile, the award-winning ValoArena 6-player is ideal for larger groups and parties, with 50% greater capacity than the ValoArena 4-player. The North American version of the ValoArena 6-player comes in at 26’ 7.2” ft wide × 21’ 11” deep (8.1 m × 6.7 m) and 9’ 9” (3.0 m) high.

Sven Rösch, head of sales for Valo Motion, says: "We are so thankful to report that the United States has become Valo Motion’s number one country for adoption of our attractions.

"We have been working to make ValoArena even more attractive for American operators by reducing the impact of tariffs, as well as shipping lead times and costs with local manufacturing."

The company's products can now be found in 37 US states. This includes 34 ValoArenas, with further units purchased and awaiting installation. ValoArena now features among the entertainment offerings of highly regarded American FECs, such as Andretti Indoor Karting, AR’s Entertainment Hub, Malibu Jack’s, Primetime, Round1, and RPM Raceway.

The first ValoArena 4-player was recently installed at Big Play Entertainment Center, Biloxi, Mississippi. It adds to an extensive range of attractions, including bowling, go-karts, mini-golf, bumper cars, laser tag, and a large arcade.

Presenting Party Box

Valo Motion will also introduce Party Box for ValoArena, a board-game-style experience that combines nostalgia and playfulness. Party Box joins the existing collection of six titles designed for families. With fast-paced and energetic mini-games, these aim to bring friends and family together through shared joy and engaging activities.

Party Box's games are fun and familiar for both children and parents, making them ideally suited to FECs. Short, randomised challenges offer multiple unique interactions in one, highly replayable game.

The collection includes six mini-games such as 'Hat Catch' and 'Kayak Race', with further titles planned for 2026. Party Box games last under 3.5 minutes, and are designed for groups of four to six players, aged 8 to 12 years.

IAAPA Expo attendees are invited to try the ValoArena 4-player, ValoClimb and ValoJump Air at the Valo Motion booth, #3886. Additionally, the ValoArena 6-player will be available to play at the Creative Works booth, #4879.

Last week, Valo Motion marked the opening of a new Total Ninja Interactive location in Johannesburg, bringing the ValoPark-inspired concept to South Africa.
