In the new immersive experience, visitors will get to play as their favourite Paw Patrol pups.

Paramount and Immersive Gamebox are launching a new Paw Patrol-themed video game experience in the UK and US from 14 June.

The interactive game is based on the popular children’s series Paw Patrol and will be available to play at all Immersive Gamebox locations in the US and UK.

“Now entering its tenth year, Paw Patrol has always had an incredibly strong fan base with families interacting with the brand in many ways,” said Marie Marks, senior VP of themed entertainment at Paramount.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Immersive Gamebox in a new format, where kids and parents alike can be fully immersed in Adventure Bay.”

Players will follow Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups as they navigate rescue training modules from Adventure Bay.

In the new immersive experience, guests will get to play as their favourite pups, including Chase, Rubble and Skye. They will also take part in a ‘Pup Pup Boogie’ dance party.

The game offers multiplayer action for two to six players, and the difficulty level can be adjusted depending on the players’ ages. It encourages teamwork and and includes educational elements.

“We’re all about bringing people together,” said Will Dean, co-founder and CEO of Immersive Gamebox.

“Adding a Paw Patrol game to our library will open the doors to more families with younger children and provide a rewarding activity that they can enjoy together as a family.”

Immersive Gamebox has 21 locations across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It uses cutting-edge technologies such as projection mapping, touchscreens, 3D motion tracking and surround sound.

The company has collaborated with streaming giant Netflix on a Squid Game attraction and Rovio Entertainment, a Finnish mobile-first gaming company and the creator of the Angry Birds brand.

Paw Patrol is produced by Spin Master Entertainment and airs on Nickelodeon.
