Following the release of volume 2 of Stranger Things season 4, a new immersive experience in the ǝpᴉsdn uʍop is opening in London.

Previously launched in New York and San Francisco, Stranger Things: The Experience will take place at London’s Troubadour Brent Cross Studio from August.

The Stranger Things-themed attraction brings to life iconic locations in Hawkins, with guests joining Eleven, Dustin, Mike, Lucas, Max and Will.

It features immersive sets, special effects, a new storyline, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise and F&B.

Guests meet the Demogorgon at Hawkins Lab, where they “volunteer as a test subject and take part in an interactive journey full of strange surprises,” according to the website.

After this, visitors head to a 1980s-inspired area called the Mix-Tape, a recreation of the Starcourt Mall. Here, guests can check out the Palace Arcade and get an ice cream from Scoops Ahoy or a slice of pizza at Surfer Boy Pizza.

“Enjoy an ’80s-style medley of locations and fan-favourite moments with merchandise, food and drinks, photo ops, interactive performers, and more surprises,” the website adds.

“We know our Stranger Things fans will embrace the chance to be the heroes of the story, working alongside Eleven, Mike and the rest of the gang to fight the evil threatening to consume Hawkins,” said Greg Lombardo, head of experiences at Netflix.

“Fans love losing themselves in the world when they watch the show. Now, for the first time, they will be able to live out an episode from the series in real life.”

Last year, Netflix launched its first-ever Stranger Things retail experiences in New York City and Los Angeles. These came after Stranger Things: The Drive Into Experience in LA.

Elsewhere, Tim Burton’s Labyrinth is opening in September at Espacio Ibercaja Delicias in Madrid. The immersive experience will take visitors through the director’s creative universe.

Stranger Things: The Experience is co-produced by Netflix and Fever.
