Crealy Theme Park & Resort near Exeter in Devon has announced a multi-million pound investment into two new family thrill rides for 2026.

The new rides come after a successful 2025 season for the UK theme park, which is focusing on its next phase of growth and looking to broaden its attraction mix.

The park's wider vision includes extending its offering to older children and encouraging repeat visits from both local and regional audiences.

The investment follows extensive guest feedback, with visitors expressing a desire for bigger, more thrilling attractions alongside Crealy’s family-friendly offering.

The new attractions include Pirates' Plummet, set to be South West England's tallest ride when it opens in the spring.

The drop tower, formerly called Magma at Paultons Park, has been transported to Devon for a reimagining.

Also coming to Crealy is Rotor, the South West's first inverted ride and the only one of its kind in the region. This opens in summer 2026.

Josh Haywood, managing director of Crealy, said the new rides build on the park's recent success "by re-engaging our local audience, expanding our appeal to older children, and continuing to evolve Crealy as a destination that truly offers every generation".

"We can’t wait to welcome guests to what will be our biggest year yet," he added.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is Devon's leading family attraction, home to more than 60 rides, as well as live entertainment experiences, play areas and events.

The resort also features on-site accommodation, serving as a short-break destination for families.
