LCI Productions, a leading multimedia show design and production company, has collaborated once again with Windsor Great Park Illuminated in the UK.
This year, the company has enhanced the visitor journey with bold AV, inventive storytelling, and character-led surprises to deliver the most extensive collection of new installations and interactive experiences in the history of the seasonal light trail.
Rob Paul, design director, LCI Productions, says: "Designing this 2.2km trail is always a privilege, and this year’s trail has been an incredible opportunity to push the boundaries of what an outdoor light experience can be.
"The additions allowed our team to explore new combinations of holography, projection, lasers and scenic builds, alongside original characters and narrative beats.
"Each zone has been reimagined to offer richer detail, more interactivity and a seamless flow across the site."

Fan favourites & new showstoppers
This edition features a range of new experiences, such as a bespoke 24-metre-long illuminated train, a reimagined Laser Gardens, and a larger water programme featuring contemporary digital artworks projected onto a waterscreen.
Returning visitors can enjoy a completely refreshed storyline across the park, with new characters, holographic scenes and multisensory environments.
Other new additions include a custom-built LED Santa house and an interactive elf snowball fight using holofan technology, a magical forest installation with 500 lanterns, and ‘Woodfest’, complete with a hologram security guard. A new 3D Snowman hologram installation stands 3 metres tall, and is joined by moon, owl and wolf holograms.
The trail concludes with a water show featuring fountains and waterscreen projections. Repeat visitors will once again see ‘Douglas’, the projection-mapped tree that has become a fan favourite.
The immersive walkthrough experience continues to combine original characters, interactive storytelling and advanced AV.

Holofans, lasers, dynamic LED environments, haze-based holograms, water projections, and large-scale scenic builds form a cohesive, multisensory journey developed by LCI’s in-house designers, animators, concept artists, and technologists.
LCI Productions remains dedicated to expanding the creative ambition of the trail while maintaining sustainable practices. The development of the attraction continues to be underpinned by LED systems, low-impact materials, and considered power distribution.
Last month, LCI Productions revealed details of how it transformed Athens’ SNFCC Canal into a musical masterpiece.
