Imagineear MediaPackers™ Bring Historic Collection to Life at the 'Versailles of Poland'

Leading provider of multimedia content and technology solutions, Imagineear, is providing its MediaPacker™ devices to the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów, Poland.

This is the second site in the country to benefit from the company’s expertise.

The museum will be leasing up to 100 MediaPacker™ devices for its permanent collection.

The Palace is situated in spacious grounds by the Vistula River, on the south-eastern edge of Warsaw. Dubbed ‘the Versailles of Poland’, it was the second home of Polish monarchs.

The museum contains a number of portraits, sculptures, fine antiques and objects dating from the 16th century. The most significant painting in the collection is the equestrian portrait of Stanislaw Kostka Potocki by Jacques Louis David.

Imagineear’s MediaPacker™ devices have been selected as a cost-effective solution to deliver tours and information about the collection.

Designed by Imagineear, The MediaPacker™ (MP™) gives attractions full and intuitive control over their content. The full-colour player with numeric keypad delivers audio, video and images. It also offers the option to display slideshows, video sync and text. What’s more, it holds a virtually unlimited number of languages making it ideal for international audiences. Tours can as many stops as required and can be navigated by number, map or by automated triggering.

The MediaPacker™ platform is supplied complete with 10-unit modular chargers, headphones, data capture, storage and analysis capability and the Reptor™ upload and download software suite, as standard.

According to Ziv Kushnir, a Founder and Commercial Director at Imagineear,  the company was seen as offering a better service than other player providers.

“The Museum has produced its own visitor tour in selected languages and considers the MediaPacker™ is the right device for the venue,” added Kushnir.

Imagineear provides products and services to museums and attractions worldwide including The British Museum, the National Gallery Singapore and the Van Gogh Museum.
