Tessitura and Ungerboeck: new integration between VenueOps & Tessitura platform

News
Ungerboeck-Tessitura

Tessitura, a nonprofit technology company dedicated to helping arts and cultural organisations thrive, has announced an expansion of its partnership with Ungerboeck, an event and venue management software company. Together, the companies have launched a new integration between VenueOps and the Tessitura platform.

This marks the first of many benefits that Tessitura’s members around the world can expect from joint innovations with Ungerboeck.

VenueOps is an easy-to-use application for venue management and booking, used by facilities such as performing arts centres, arenas, stadiums, museums, and others. These venues use VenueOps to manage event booking, production, resource allocation, task management, and more.

Thanks to the integration with the Tessitura platform, areas of friction between sales and box office teams will be reduced, and in addition to this data entry and communication will be improved. Furthermore, this move means that production data can be shared easily between the two systems, and two-way data sharing makes report creation simple.

Unified workflows

Together, the two companies are working to develop unified workflows, in order to add value and enhance their solutions. A future Tessitura integration is also in the works, with Ungerboeck’s newest cloud-based platform.

“The cooperation and partnership with Tessitura are natural extensions of the shared vision to empower teams that champion arts and culture,” says Steve Mackenzie, executive VP at Ungerboeck. “We’re proud to collaborate with an organization of such high caliber.”

“Ungerboeck has a long history of driving innovation as a technology leader in the events industry,” says Erin Lively Koppel, Tessitura’s chief strategy officer. “We’re so pleased that our partnership is leading to greater efficiencies for arts and cultural organizations across the globe.”

Webinar will showcase capabilities

In April, Tessitura will hold a webinar to show members the benefits of this new integration.

“We are thrilled to see this collaboration between Tessitura and Ungerboeck,” says Debby Urbauer, chief of staff at the Smith Center. “As one of the organizations who beta tested the integration with VenueOps and Tessitura, this certainly opens up doors to less duplicate entry and increased collaboration between our booking and box office teams.”

Last year, Tessitura supported the Science Museum Group with key functionality such as timed ticketing and contactless scanning when its five museums reopened to the public.
