Museums, art galleries, cultural institutions and heritage sites occupy an important position in societies across the world. Not only do they collect, care for, display and interpret objects, they are also trusted authorities when trust in the media, politicians and government is at an all time low.

Museums are storytellers and custodians. But in these politically unstable times and with climate change an existential threat to all our lives, their role as educators has never been more vital.

We are launching our fifth blooloop 50 Museum Influencer List in association with our good friends at BeWunder. They are experts in creating multisensory experiences with a wide range of media and technology.

The list highlights 50 key individuals whose innovation and creativity have been integral to developing today's museums.
