Disneyland increases ticket prices, introduces new top tier

Disneyland Resort in California has increased ticket prices and introduced a top tier for popular dates.

Disneyland Resort in California has increased ticket prices and introduced a new top tier for the most in-demand days of the year that costs $164.

Disneyland has raised its ticket prices for the first time since February 2020, just before it was closed due to the pandemic. Disneyland said the changes are due to “pent-up demand after 14-month closure” (via Deadline).

The attraction has also introduced a new sixth tier, with a single-day, single-park ticket costing $164 on the park’s most popular days, including select weekends and holidays.

The starting price for a single-day, single-park ticket to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure remains unchanged since 2019 at $104.

Single-day, single-park tickets

  • Tier 1: $104
  • Tier 2: $119 (up from $114)
  • Tier 3: $134 (up from $124)
  • Tier 4: $149 (up from $139)
  • Tier 5: $159 (up from $154)
  • Tier 6: $164

Parkhopper ticket prices

  • Tier 1: $164 (up from $159)
  • Tier 2: $179 (up from $169)
  • Tier 3: $194 (up from $179)
  • Tier 4: $209 (up from $194)
  • Tier 5: $219 (up from $209)
  • Tier 6: $224

Multi-day ticket prices have also increased, with two-day, one-park tickets rising from $235 to $255, and two-day Parkhoppers going from $290 to $315.

Additionally, three-day, one-park tickets have been raised from $310 to $330, and three-day Parkhoppers have increased from $365 to $390.

Daily parking rates at the theme parks have risen from $25 to $30, while self-parking at the resort’s hotels has climbed from $25 to $40. Hotel valet parking rose from $35 to $50.

“The demand to visit Disneyland Resort remains strong through the continued phased reopening, which began in April 2021,” a Disneyland spokesperson told Spectrum News 1.

“As we continue to invest in our parks with new experiences and enhanced technology for digital planning tools that are uniquely Disney, it’s an exciting time to visit Disneyland Resort.”
