New hotel is the first to be located within the Efteling theme park

Ahead of the opening of Efteling’s Grand Hotel, the fairytale theme park in the Netherlands has revealed more about its new accommodation.

The Efteling Grand Hotel opens to guests on 1 August. It is the first hotel to be located within the park itself.

Upon arrival at the luxury hotel, guests will be checked in digitally, enjoy valet parking, and receive assistance from the bellhop team.

Design elements in the seven-floor hotel’s lobby include a grand piano and a ceiling covered in magical keys.

The Efteling Grand Hotel offers 140 rooms and suites with a total of 644 beds. Rooms vary in size and can accommodate up to six guests.

The rooms and suites overlook Efteling, providing views of the Aquanura water show, the House of the Five Senses entrance, the Fairytale Forest, or the Pardoes Promenade.

All room bookings include breakfast at Brasserie 7 and early access to the park.

The new hotel includes two restaurants, Brasserie 7 on the ground floor and Restaurant-Bar Mystique on the first floor.

The former will serve classic dishes created with magical ingredients like princess tears and snow from the Mother Holle attraction in the Fairytale Forest.

Restaurant-Bar Mystique boasts views of the park’s Aquanura show and provides a premium dining experience.

The tables will be covered in edible decorations, which guests can enjoy while creating a magical flavour formula to be used in signature dishes.

Additionally, the hotel houses Café Biscuit, which will serve coffee and baked goods.

As for the hotel’s amenities, the lower ground floor is home to a swimming pool for guests, with spa facilities including a steam room, sauna and massage room.

Shops at the hotel are Arcadeau and Hotel Boutique Sens.

Last month, Efteling’s signature hotel reopened with a new name after renovations to its ground floor and retheming across the property.
