EPIC Entertainment Group, a producer of themed entertainment, live events, and immersive environments, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Hersheypark Dark Nights for the third consecutive year. Expanding on their successful partnership, EPIC will assume control of the Costume, Make-Up, and Talent divisions. It will lead both live and online casting calls for hundreds of scare actors, speciality performers, makeup artists, and wardrobe specialists for the Halloween seasons of 2024, 2025, and 2026.

In June, the Los Angeles area will host two days of open casting calls as part of EPIC Entertainment Group’s nationwide talent search. The tour will then continue through Pennsylvania, stopping along the way at Philadelphia, Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Hershey before continuing on to New York. From coast to coast, EPIC has a long tradition of delivering unforgettable scare performances.

“Our team excels in this space,” says Charity Hill, partner at EPIC Entertainment Group. “With over a decade of experience producing Dark Harbor at The Queen Mary in Long Beach and Dark Horizon in Orlando, we’ve mastered the craft of immersive storytelling and delivering exceptional guest experiences.”

A valuable partner

Already well-known for its creative work on Dark Nights attractions like “The Descent” and “Midway of Misery,” EPIC Entertainment Group EPIC has been engaged to take on an extended role that includes make-up, costume, and talent direction in addition to overseeing production, stage management, and technical direction.

“Since the inception of Dark Nights, EPIC has been a valuable partner helping us to design and execute a world-class experience for Hersheypark guests,” says Brewer Lister, managing director of Hersheypark special events, entertainment, and guest experiences. “We appreciate gaining their added expertise and support for haunt attractions and look forward to growing Dark Nights for many years to come!”

Steve Sheldon, partner at Epic Entertainment Group adds: “We’re thrilled to be a part of the Hersheypark team and to continue building on what has been an incredibly successful partnership since Dark Nights was introduced in 2022.”

Dark Nights will return to Hersheypark for its third and most terrifying season yet on Friday 13 September.

Last year, EPIC Entertainment Group celebrated a record number of visitors to Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden over the summer. The company was able to increase ticket sales, attendance, and buzz in spite of the “summer slump” that affected many events and attractions across the US.
