The new activations include a wide variety of venues and formats, with large-scale stage shows, behind-the-scenes tours, retail experiences, immersive festivals, character breakfasts, themed decor, and more.

Experiences are now live at prestigious locations in the US and Europe, such as Hersheypark, Hershey’s Chocolate World, Merlin destinations including Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Legoland’s in California, Florida and Windsor, Parque Warner Madrid, the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, Herschend Enterprises, Melia Hotels International and numerous independent parks including Santa’s Village, and Lost Island Themepark & Waterpark.

Across these attractions, the company is providing a range of activations that flawlessly integrate live performance, education and branded retail into the visitor journey. More than 1,000 performers and technicians have been cast for the new summer season entertainment.

Craig Laurie, chief creative officer, RWS Global, says: “We are honored to partner with some of the most visited destinations in the world to create high-quality, customer-centric experiences, which keep guests returning year after year.

“These 100-plus new seasonal shows and experiences, wholly developed, implemented and managed by RWS Global, further demonstrates our commitment to innovation in storytelling, technology and guest engagement.”

Exceeding expectations

The Global Attractions Attendance Report 2023 states that worldwide theme park attendance is increasing by more than 20%, especially at the top 25 parks globally. According to Skift, 73% of millennials and Gen Z travellers would rather try new experiences than return to previously visited locations.
