The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, has confirmed the speakers for its upcoming industry event.
SATE, which stands for Story + Architecture + Technology = Experience, will take place 4-7 May 2022 at Liseberg. The event will celebrate the post-pandemic recovery of the industry with three full days of activities and networking in Sweden.
Speakers
The TEA will explore a variety of industry topics including accessibility and expos, as well as trending issues such as sustainability and the metaverse. The conference programme takes place on 5-6 May. Speakers announced are:

- Matt Dawson, vice president business development at Forrec
- David Debouverie, senior associate at P+A Projects
- Daniel Kerscher, global art director of MackNext and design department of Europa-Park
- George Lawton, lighting designer
- Lesley Morisetti, director of Morisetti Associates
- Grant Poje, executive vice president of Europe, Russia and Africa at WhiteWater
- Jacob Trevino, founder and CEO of Gorilla Cinema Presents
Tickets now available
Attendees will also receive a hard-hat tour of Liseberg’s expansion project, which includes the addition of Oceana, a new water park. The park is also launching Luna Park, with two new rides opening this year and a new roller coaster announced for the 2023 season.
TEA Members can attend for a discounted rate of $650, with non-member tickets being $1,300. Tickets include entry to Liseberg, three dinners, two lunches, speakers and networking opportunities. Tickets are available for purchase from the TEA website.
