Therme Group has announced two new leadership appointments for its UK wellness resort expansion, with Jonathan Lingham joining as chief commercial officer and Alison Gray as chief people officer.
Starting with Lingham, in this strategic leadership role he will oversee commercial strategy and execution as Therme accelerates its expansion across the UK.
He will lead Therme UK's commercial operations, including sales, strategic partnerships, brand activation, revenue management, and customer experience functions.

Lingham, who most recently served as commercial director at Manchester City Football Club, said Therme's "vision for wellbeing and sustainable leisure resonates deeply with me".
"I am excited to be joining Therme UK at such a dynamic point in its growth journey," he said.
David Russell, CEO of Therme UK, said Lingham's "deep commercial insight, coupled with his ability to forge strong partnerships and drive strategic initiatives, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our presence and impact in the UK market".

As for Gray, she will lead the people and culture strategy across Therme's UK operations in the newly established senior leadership role.
Gray will oversee all aspects of HR strategy, including talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and organisational design.
"I am thrilled to join Therme UK at such an exciting moment in its journey," she said.
"I look forward to working with the talented team here to champion a people-centred culture that supports growth, innovation, and wellbeing for everyone who contributes to and experiences the Therme vision.”

Russell said: “People sit at the heart of everything Therme stands for, and Alison brings exactly the leadership and insight required to embed that philosophy across our UK operations."
Therme's first UK destination is in Manchester, with construction on the new wellness resort underway.
Therme Manchester will feature state-of-the-art swimming and thermal bathing areas, spa and fitness zones, immersive art, sustainable gardens, and a range of restaurants and cafes.
