Innovator of world-class artificial wave technology, American Wave Machines, has announced that Robert Reynolds is their new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Reynolds joins the California-based company from Park Lane IBS where he was Director of Consumer Sports and Entrepreneur-in-Residence and is described as bringing “decades of branding and financing experience”.

With Robert’s prior success in sports business and his passion for surfing, we will grow into new markets and types of facilities.”
The company says that Reynolds will be closely working with their advisor, Park Lane IBS, to identify growth opportunities for American Wave Machines and their subsidiary companies.
Reynolds comments: “Having surfed and been around the surfing culture my entire life, I am extremely excited about joining such a great team and leading the Company into its next phase of growth. Their technology is the best in the market and provides significant value to their clients.”
He describes McFarland as a “visionary leader and inventor”, adding: “I’m excited to bring a wide variety of deal making structures to American Wave Machines to achieve their goals of scalability and large-scale real-estate and retail development project builds.”

American Wave Machines is a privately held, artificial wave-generating technology company whose key focus is on world-class, out-of-ocean waves and surf park development.
