American Dream has announced the phased opening dates for attractions, theme parks, water parks, and more at the shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
The retailtainment destination will open in four ‘chapters’, with the first scheduled for opening day on October 25, with Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and The Rink.
Nickelodeon Universe will feature more than 35 rides, coasters and attractions, including ‘The Shredder’, ‘The Shellraiser’ and ‘Nickelodeon’s Skyline Scream’.
The 8.5-acre indoor theme park will also include popular Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob and Dora the Explorer.
Opening first are Nickelodeon Universe and The Rink
Also opening on October 25 is The Rink, American Dream’s NHL regulation-sized ice rink. The attraction will boast open skating, figure skating, hockey tournaments, and events.
American Dream is planning a ‘spooky skate’ for October 31 (aka Halloween), with pumpkin pick-and-paint, face painting, and fall activities.
The second chapter is set for November 27, when DreamWorks Water Park opens. The immersive indoor water park will house more than 40 water slides and 15 attractions.
Experiences include Shrek’s Swap, Madagascar’s Rain Forest, and the Kung Fu Panda Zone. There will also be a lazy river, a 1.5-acre wave pool, and the world’s tallest indoor body slide.
